Electricity from Industrial Waste

Successful industries need cheap electric energy. However, more than 50% of current costs result from grid fees only. Thus, if the current required is produced directly at the consumer, these specific costs for grid transmission can be saved. Nor do the high connection and provision costs accumulate.

Cryogen-granulation and power generation within one plant!

Various mechanical engineering and plant construction companies have developed tyre crushing plants which facilitate the easy exploitation of pure tyre rubber substrate. Using such plants, huge quantities of used tyres can be processed quickly and at moderate prices.

LTC Powertech - From Waste to Energy

laid-rubber
Low Temperature Conversion (LTC) is a thermo catalytic decomposition process operating without air supply, e.g. no pollution.

By softly heating the input material to a conversion temperature below 700°C (in incineration plants it is 800-1200°C or higher) a modified synthetic strong gas (equivalent to natural gas) . This strong gas is turned into electrical energy in turbine generator stations. The conversion into heating or fuel oil is possible as well.

No toxic gases, such as dioxins, furans etc. arise. Inorganic materials such as metals are not overheated, they pass through the LTC PowerTech plant without generating any pollutants. The molecular structure of heavy metals is not broken down, but instead remains solidly together and thus difficult to dissolve.

Pollutants in the gases are leached out, precipitated and dried can be deposited without endangering environment or even be recycled to a high extent.

Input Material

A major advantage ist he wide applicability of the LTC PowerTech process to various input-materials which are available in the region, do not require decentralised pre-treatment and in many cases even cause problems regarding waste removal.
The smallest LTC PowerTech plant is designed to process 1 ton input material per hour which equals to 7.500 tons per year.
Big plants for municipal solid waste or lignite process 50 tons per hour and more input ltc.
